It says black metal on their myspace but it's way more death than black. >4minute songs that are comprised of nothing but a rampage of blast-beating rapage. Sounds alright, but I'll get back to old Cryptopsy for interesting and technical death metal and burzum/xasthur/old ulver/leviathan for good black metal.

this album is fucking ridiculous.

it's like if Devy listened to nothing but Dismember while writing and recording city. 80 percent of the vocals are brutal screaming through heavy distortion and the other 20 percent are on some epic Vortex-like shit.

crazy fucking album all the way through.
