Personally I feel the Axe is in another league from POD. The tones also sit in the mix a lot better then Revalver for me.
I'd have to say that the AXE sounds similar to the POD. And from what I've heard, ReValver sounds more authentic to a real amp than the AXE. But none of that really matters honestly. You've got a great sound that is your own be it POD-ish or not. For this type of metal (no dynamic range), I think the POD does a great job. Brutal clip!![]()
