not sure if I'd rave about the gat tone though?
Doesn't sound that much more realistic compared to your revalver tones.
Having said that, I'm yet to hear a hi-gain axe-fx tone that's really close to a miked amp tone............it still has this weird thing in the tops (and the way it 'feels') that reminds me of pods/all modellers.
I'm sure it's just a matter of tweaking though

Thanks for listening! Personally I feel the Axe is in another league from POD. The tones also sit in the mix a lot better then Revalver for me.

I'd have to say that the AXE sounds similar to the POD. And from what I've heard, ReValver sounds more authentic to a real amp than the AXE. But none of that really matters honestly. You've got a great sound that is your own be it POD-ish or not. For this type of metal (no dynamic range), I think the POD does a great job. Brutal clip!

Thanks. Have you tried one? It's pretty hard to tell from clips. Real amps can be made to sound like a POD and vice versa. I've owned both and it's just my opinion but the Axe pwns the POD in every way. Not to say that you can't make good sounding recordings with the POD because obviously you can.
Sure what do you want to know specifically? They are S2.0 with the S1 kick. All the mixing is done out of S2 in Cubase with various plugins.

I'm sorry but you can't do tis with a POD, no matter how you try. I should know, since I've been using the POD for five years, and the AFX for one year. I'm sure Enditol will agree when I say that there's no comparison IRL. Last 15 seconds is the "Main theme"

I've owned a PODxt, an original AXE FX and ReValver for the record. That was my point when I said none of this debate really matters much with metal like this since there is no dynamic range. Any of these guitar processors can be made to sound quite similar especially for that type of metal.
Sweet riffing Enditol, though I agree the tone doesn't do anything too spectacular to me - it's definitely better than a Pod (fuck that outdated plastic-sounding kidney bean), but I've heard better from Jocke (more organic and natural sounding, which is my bag baby). You're getting there, though!

No worries, we all have different tastes and preferences. I actually bought the Axe as a live FX processor for my rig (replaced my Eventide), so the recording capabilities are just extra tasty cake on top for me.

Haha! That's funny... Years ago, I use to be a huge digital FX junkie (huge into Vai) and I had an Eventide H3000 before I bought the AXE. It's funny that now a days, I don't use effects at all except for a little reverb.
I really don't think it matters much what you're using for that type of metal, your tone sounds great and very suiting for your style. Keep up the great work!

What's so special about getting feedback?
My guess it was that he was demonstrating how axe behaves when you turn down the guitar volume pot.
