Hey guys,
so a friend of mine sent me some stems from their recording sessions for mixing. The project is the Brainchild of Um forum member Will Bozarth. Will is a good friend and asked me to re-amp, mix and master for him.
The instructions given was make it sound like Robert Rodriguez and Danny Elfman had a love child ...lol Well something to that effect anyway. We were going after a very raw and under produced sound, make it sound really rough and demo'ish
Sloppy playing on the guitar side is intentional, its really just having a ton of fun and writing about crazy ass shit.

For those interested:
Guitars were re-amped through a 5150 and a Krank Rev JR, mic'd with a 57 on a GT-65, really thin scooped sound was what we were going for. Bass guitars are all Pod Farm Bass OD where it has distortion, and just a dry direct track.
Master bus was Waves, Gclip and Ozone
