New Band New Stuff!!

There is potential though livingfod, don't let the honest comments get you down or anything, there are just a lot of stuff that need tweaking to qualify as a decent mix.
I would start with sampling those drums, get them tighter, turn them up as well, it's pushed way too much in the background.
Also make sure everything is filled in at the right moments, and go from there.
Now that you have turned up the drums, and sampled the kick and snare, you'll probably hear that the cymbals don't sound right anymore, too soft, lacking attack, so look for some compression on them as well, and turn them up so the drums sound decent.
From there, start adding bass, these two (drums and bass) should sound good together, it's the foundation of a decent mix!
Put some compression on that bass as well, that thing is flopping all over the place, the guitars don't sound panned right to me, vocals sound fine for now.

Then start adding guitars, make sure to take your time to set them up properly and record them properly as well, then pan them as almost here would pan them.

That's a pretty good start allready, as your first mix, i would be proud.. i can still hear mine (even though i threw it away two years ago, haha) and it sucked bigtime!

So keep at it, and read a lot, it's mostly trial and error, reading, reading and lot's of reading.. but most of the time you will just need to try and learn from mistakes, take time to get to know your plugins and setup, what sounds best, what fits best where, etc... and you'll be good to go dude, things like this take time anyway.

Now go in there and be a soldier! :p
