New bike.

I prefer not to compress vessels vital to sustaining an erection, therefore I haven't ridden a bicycle in 8 years.

haha, smoking will cause much more damage to your ability to have an erection that riding a bike. I've been riding for some 25 years and never had an issue. Not that it matters in my case.

@Matt: I was thinking of Endless Mike, actually. I checked out Wikipedia and discovered that the first 2 season were released on DVD while the 3rd one was cancelled :erk: And, yeah, the only show since then that I think even compares is (was) Even Stevens. Yet, even that lacked the "adult" humor of Pete and Pete.

nothing wrong with hipsters, i know some too ... but those single speeds are just so part of their ... "thing" :loco:

hahah ...

this is a good explanation:
The Hipster Handbook

Some stereotypical accessories of the modern hipster include Vespa scooters, Buddy Holly-style glasses, beards, indie-rock band membership, Fixed gear Bicycles, Converse style shoes, Vice Magazine, and vintage clothing. Neighborhoods such as Uptown, Minneapolis; Wicker Park, Chicago; Allston, Massachusetts; Southside, Pittsburgh; Williamsburg, Brooklyn; South Philadelphia, Philadelphia; The Temescal, Oakland; The Mission District, San Francisco; Capitol Hill, Seattle; Clifton, Cincinnati; Hollywood, Los Angeles; the Hawthorne district in Portland; The Plateau, Montréal; Tribeca; Queen West and College St. in Toronto, Woodbridge & Corktown, Detroit; and other, smaller concentrations across the country have become popular living and recreational destinations for hipsters. Cheap, alcoholic beverages such as Pabst Blue Ribbon Beer are sometimes associated with hipster culture.

Haha, I hang out in all the time, and am moving to Allston in January, and drink cheap booze, and now ride a fixed gear. UH OH HIPSTER TYME!!11oen1!

Clifton, Cincinnati

BWHAHAHAHAHA Have you ever seen Traffic? It was filmed not far from Clifton. I went to a show there a couple years back and was somewhat terrified.
Other than that, thanks for the info Lurch! :kickass: BTW, I can't stand any of those attributes. They're almost as bad as metrosexuals. LOL @ Vespas. ATTENTION FELLOW AMERICANS: YOU DO NOT RIDE VESPA SCOOTERS

the thing about these types of people that are trying to be so cool and "individual" is that they end up creating their own little subculture and in the end basically look like cookie cutter copies of one another.

you should see some of the bars in Brookyln here ... they're like a antique clothes convention and outside looks like a bike parking lot in Amsterdam ...
in walks lurch with his Abercrombie jacket and it's like ... can I get a Heineken :loco:
