New Black Tide: Hmm...

Well the vocals are not like in the debut but the song works for me more or less, so I'm gonna give the album a chance.

Thanks for the head up.

I saw them on the Warped Tour in 2009 and they played four tracks off the debut in their set. They played a new track in the middle of their set and people including myself where dumbfounded...because it was more of a Nu-Metal meets Metal Core mish mash. I'm simply uninterested.

This song has that nu-metal vibe to it, though I still like the song. It is a strong song, but if the rest of the songs are in this vein, I probably won't like them so much. I guess what I am trying to say, is that like Brother Vern the song works for me, but I don't think a CD full of them will.

They've apparently grown up and succumbed to those around them promising them a rockstar life with fame and fortune if they would just make a style change to yet another metalcore-nu-crappy band... :yuk:

What a waste of talent... :bah:

- So this is kind of a hybrid between Light From Above and the new song. I like it better than Bury Me.

Guess Gabe can't sing the high stuff anymore so they're going all Disturbed.

Whatever is the noise at 0:42 killed the mood for me. Efectively the vocals lost the charm of the debut. My gut tells me I'm gonna following them no more (there goes the annoying sound at 1:31).
