recently got the new borknagar, epic. im kind of dissapointed..its really not that great, uninspiring. no real rememorable songs. maybe i have to listen to it a few more times.

I've got exactly the same feeling about this record 
I really love their previous efforts, "Quintessence" and "Empiricism" being amongst my alltime favourites. But "Epic".. Meh. I will give it more listens, and I really hope it's an album that'll grow on me. But the keyboards sound a bit weird at times, Vintersorg's clean vocals sometimes sound out of place, and they use dissonant chords that don't really click with me at all. I'll keep my fingers crossed and hope that it'll grow on me, though.
