After looking at Ultimate Metal off and on for the past year I have finally decided to join in and take part in some discussions. Some things about me are I'm probably twice the age as most of you who are reading this and have been a metal head since I first heard the thundering drum beat of the intro of Run to the Hills by Iron Maiden when I was about 8 or 9 years old. I love all kinds of metal, I do prefer thrash,especially metal from the 80's, but will give anything that is heavy and fast a chance. I look forward to trading opinions with the Ultimate Metal forums and discussing all things metal.
