New Candlemass

CANDLEMASS have recorded four new songs with producer Andy Sneap (NEVERMORE, ARCH ENEMY). The recording took place in the new Polar Studios in Stockholm, Sweden last weekend (February 25th/26th) and the band say that they are very happy with the result.

“The songs are pretty much in the same vein as the stuff on the reunion album, maybe a bit darker” says bassist/songwriter Leif Edling. The next recording session will be in May.

The new Candlemass album is scheduled for a release in October 2006 via Nuclear Blast.

Great, can't wait to hear the end result!

I liked the latest album, I just thought the vocals were too quiet and weak sounding. So if they improve on that we have a winner.
