I am a new fan of novembers doom. I bought their last cd before the new one today. What are the lyrics about? Do you think they are anti christian?

Are you speaking of the Pale Haunt Departure?
Faith is mentioned many times, though "having faith" doesn't necessarily have to mean pro-religion. Personally, I never viewed any ND lyrics as anti-Christian.

I would be very curious though to know which lyrics specifically you question.

The lyrics tend to either be about sadness or hope, for the most part. Anti-Christian? The lyrics, no... the band members, who cares?

We're not an anti-Christian band. Some of the lyrics question the concept of faith, but they're more on a personal level. We certainly aren't against people who are Christian.

If you research some recent articles on us on the web, you can find interviews with Paul where he discusses this subject matter a bit more in depth.
