Hell yeah - Legion is so raw and heavy. I love that album too.
As far as Glen and his "message" - can't say I agree with Satanism, but he seems like an alright, down to earth, to the point dude.

Bentons "Satan" shit is just him rebelling against his christian upbringing. Hes not a TRUE Satanist in the actual sense. He does it just to piss people off. Besides the band Slays. One of the best DM bands of all time. Right up there with Carcass for me. Calling Benton a satanist is like calling Bill Steer a surgeon.

I was the bigest Deicide fan 10-15 years ago...I actually don't know why I stopped listening to them, perhaps I should give it another try
Deicide are just a brilliant band from a golden -era of music. It's a shame they just couldn't keep their shit together what with cancelling tours and releasing poxy albums just to get out of a record deal. If they kept going with the same intensity they had around Once Upon The Cross they'd have been the biggest DM band in the world. Love Deicide especially Legion. Can't wait for this new one.

Jack played the rhythms, ralph played the leads. The music is definitely the most tech they've been since Legion. Some of its pretty fuckin ridiculous... there is some riffs that are just sick... some of it very straightforward and some of it really really original.
The drumming is just berzerko. Cool overheads on this one. Steve uses some pretty different cymbals from everyone else.

Didn't konw Ralph was gonna be on this one, thought Kevin from Order Of Ennead took over from him. Most technical since Legion??? I'm very interested now.

I reckon with Mark producing (actually producing? or just mixing) and Ralph playing leads, this could work out to be one of the sickest Deicide albums ever.
IMO the Stench of Redemption was an excellent sort of 'comeback' but didn't stand up to repeat listenings because the songs just weren't all that well written. Hopefully Mark has helped em round the sounds out a little better this time and I always enjoy Ralphs lead playing. I'm sure the mix will be heavy as balls too!
