I really really dig those clips. What SYL albums/songs sound like that? I am very unfamiliar with Devin's stuff, except for City, which I heard back in 98 and didn't like cause it was too noisy for me ... any suggestions on what to check out?

I can't help but think that because of the mic design, it'll get you a different kind of effect than cupping a 58, or is it the same kind of thin/midrange heavy effect going on?

That's exactly what I couldn't believe. I have a hard enough time punching in myself playing guitar without falling out of the groove of things. How he does vocals I have no idea
