New doom mix in process....Help?

sup dudes


I've been working like a bitch on this track and i think im making alittle progress,
so far the only things needed to finish it off are bass and vox.

Im using my baby which would be my L6 spider valve head with guitarhacks
ThisOne impulse.
Drums are EZDrummer , id use Superior but my comp just cant handel it so its the best ive got!

As far as the song writing goes id love to know what you guys think cuz this is a new style for me , im moving futher away from death metal it just doesnt interest me anymore

any how take it easy fellas!

Bass needed but it sounds good to me.
It reminds me Katatonia´s Discouraged Ones from time to time.

Wich Kit on EZdrummer did you use??

cheers man , yeah once the bass is added it deffo make a fuller mix

I used the DFH kit with sneap snare and kick
Im pretty shit at eq'ing drums so it probably could be alot better but oh well gotta try!

Hey Wyllie, I´m trying to make a cover of In Flames and I´m with the drums (I have no idea how to do it well but I´l keep on!!) could you tell me where can I find that kick or any other snare sound for my ezdrummer.

well to use those .gog files you need a program called Drumagog.

Then in your daw load drumagog onto the chanels your wanting to put the samples on...pretty easy really. What's not easy is making it trigger properly which can be such a bitch sometimes!
