heh heh. . yea. . heh. . heh. . .

good shit 006! whoever this dude is, he totally never needs to deal with another stinky uncooperative drummer again, or. . . BULLSHIT, i dont beleive it's programmed, and i need a shower, since i play drums...

i would love to hear some shit programmed from the v-kit if possible. . :)

drums will be a thing of the past soon. . . our grandkids are like, whys it called a snare? well back in the day, we used to have a real drum, with real snares on it. . . whys it called a tom tom? . . oh, err.. i don't fuckin know the dude who invented it was named tom and he just felt like naming it after himself . . twice. . .:D

Die

Was listening to Garage Inc. lol...

Whatcha think??

i think you left out the burp in the beginning dude!

sounds cool though dude, the drums sound kinda 80's drum machine-ish, imo DFHS rocks it away. . . the guitar and bass mix is good though. i hope everyone knows that a man named glen danzig wrote that song. . . and the (awesome) band was not called danzig. . . i hope i'm not just stating the obvious but i gotta hold it down for one of my fav bands!:headbang:

deus.. actually.. bfd 1.5 has 18 kit piece slots.. pretty sick for the most part.

you are probably used to the former that only had 9 slots.

its a cool bleed matrix they have, but DFHS feels pro.. BFD feels fruity loopy.

2 cameltoe:
What are the settings you have used on guitar port for guitars? Did you use the expansion metal pack or native pack? What is the rig?

I have the metal pack but didnt use it this time. Used the Line6 Treadplate w/treadplate cab..

The kit size is no longer an issue.

For this kit I used 2 snares, 2 kicks, 5 toms, 6 cymbals....2 snares are "linked" and same with the kicks....

006, any chances you share the midi file from "Ahem" ? The programming is very good. I'd be curious to take a closer look and find out how you got that laidback feel.

Dude, I wish I did, he sent it to me back in the day when I first got DFHS and I imported it for my kit, but since then it's become lost with reformats and just sloppy back-ups of files on my part. I can try to get ahold of him to get it though. I'll let you know if I get ahold of it again. :)

xmidihcx - Call bullshit if you like, but that card is boring for me regarding this clip. Anyone has used DFHS knows the sounds, it's genuine DFHS. Programmed by hand using a mouse. Like I said, I have a ton of drummer friends that I have shown that clip to that still call me a liar to this very day because I told them it was a program, and not a real drummer. Mostly they were just pissed because they see their importance fading, lol. If you have an e-kit, you can do this same exact stuff, just go from MIDI out from your e-kit's module, and MIDI into your PC and route it to the MIDI track in your host program, output to DFHS. Easy. I've done it at home for a ton of band demos, and even had triggers on real kits for snare, kick, and toms at the studio here, and ran those through DFHS while mic'ing the real cymbals and hi-hats of the kit in the room. It sounds just like that clip, all of the nuances (little ghost notes, velocity changes, etc.) come through perfectly. Basically it's an elaborate-as-shit rendition of Drumagog at that point though.

I don't see what your worries are with getting an e-kit and DFHS, you'll be extremely happy. You could always also just get a full set of the *NICE* DDrum triggers (not the cheapies), and a low-cost drum module for the MIDI output and DFHS and just mic actual cymbals if you don't want to spend all that money on a kit. I mean, mic'ing cymbals and hi-hats isn't nearly as complicated as drums as far as getting a good sound is concerned. Just my take though.

I'm not a drummer so.....But I will try and program some shit like that clip...see ya in a few months!!!
