New Exodus DVD...

Killer ! I LOVE those drums !

Makes wanna listen back to the "a lesson in violence" live album (which sounded killer already, my fav. Exodus release actually).

You mean "Another Lesson In Violence"? That's one of my favourite live mixes ever... so fucking intense.

I wonder how much is it real in that clip of Bonde....cause big live shows like graspop, wacken and so are not the best places to hear the bands, I´d say it´s unfair to them because of external things such as wind, echoes, etc etc.
The fact is that next week I´m going to record (and then mix and mastering) the most important gig in my life, it´s about a PanterA fest, the venue is sold out so I feel the pressure for make a good job. I wonder how the pros, like Mr Sneap face these projects. The fact is I won´t bring any mike, and the sound engineer of the venue will give me only lines. So with 16 tracks I must to do a great job. When a pro band like Exodus, Chimaira, and so wants to realise a live show dvd, do they take a expecific engineer who brings their equiptment, preamps, compressor, double mikes (one for PA, and another for record) or not, cause I´m quite lost whit that. Do they record DI´s from guitars and bass and then reamp??? Sorry for the sermon and the offtopic.
