Jens bogren mix and master from what I read somewhere. The title track and the opening track are my favorites so far.

Just realized the last time I heard this band was their first record back in high school.

Then all the middle records happened and I missed them. Now I listen to this and it's nothing like I remember, this is much better.

I'm not familiar with extol at all but that track was really mediocre in my opinion, I think I forgot about it the second it ended. The production on the other hand is really great, as usually Bogren mixes are. Has anyone else noticed that in most of his recent mixes the guitars seem to be slightly undergained?

I think this track is one of the more exciting tracks on the album

I really really like the guitar tone on this album! I know Ole B. used a 7 string guitar in B standard tuning possibly using a Dimarzio D sonic(or at least that's what's in his new custom guitar. Any one have any info on that amp? sounds like it might possibly be digital but extol has been known for using marshall preamps before so I wouldn't be surprised.

Sounds like 5150. Anyway it's killer. Would like to have more info about the bass sound, it's huge.

I'd actually doubt it being a 5150 just knowing Jens' opinion on them. Probably Rectifier or 5153.

He hates them, I don't think he's done an album with them on it unless he wasn't the one tracking or reamping.
