The production on this album is so damn dry...

But I love it for what it is.



The guitars just wouldn't work in any other band, or any other record for that matter, but they really add to the mechanical feeling that FF are known for.

I hate everything about this production when broken down to the individual elements; dry drums, pingy snare, uber *tick-tick* kick, boxy as fuck guitar tone, hardly any bass, but when it all comes together it's so crushing.

Anybody got any info on gear for any of it?

There's a bonus DVD with the album with a few clips of the 'making of', but my copy has been lost a long time.

Love this album! From what I remember, Christian used Stephen Carpenter's Marshall rig on this album because he didn't have a guitar amp yet.
