Help with this mix/tone aiming for Within the ruins kind of production

Hey guys working on a track for a local band any help with this would be great.

i am trying to get something close to the within the ruins "invade" sound
obviously that production is sick and i will have a hard time getting close without the gear/hands

but any suggestions on this? this is mix 1 so i am sure i will have more versions if you need any info just ask

guitars are pod, schecter damien elite 7 string

Hell I'll be honest. That production works great for WTR. Is it gonna work great for you? IDK. By the style of music I'm hearing, no. It's like trying to use a "djent" guitar tone in a Metallica song. It works but it doesn't quite sound "correct". Your on the right track though. The mix doesn't sound bad at all. I would shoot for your own style that works for this song or this type of music. Even though it's "kinda" similar to WTR, it's not. Get what I mean? Find a production that works better with your own stuff and you will be much happier instead of going after a particular production that prolly wont work. Good luck.

i usually dont for production like this but i wanted to give it a shot even if i dont get it sounding exactly like it thats fine i just want a style of production that is very clear most of my other stuff is produced like this but the more i try to get this the better i get thanks for commenting and i appreciate the honestly and actually agree with you lol

yea thats what im using lol just need to get the shit EQed right i think especially the kick i can tell its kick 10
i have read all the threads about the within the ruins production
btw i mean most of my other stuff is NOT produced like this lol

anyways this is my final update i think let me know what ya think my biggest battle is getting the bass and kick to sit right i think, but i think i got it pretty solid
