Hey all, Thanks for a FANTASTIC resource of info 
! I just wanted to post some songs that we have just finished, I have used many of the techniques and recommendations on this forum!
Drums:
Kick - D6 - Millenia
Snare top - 57 - Chandler TG-2
Snare bottom - some old Sennheiser - Chandler TG-2
Overheads - C414 - Chandler TG-2
Toms - 421's - Digitech VTP-1
No drum replacement
Guitars - Reamped by our mixing engineer
Bass - Direct Ampeg plug-in
Vocals - SM7 - Chandler TG-2
Our mixing/mastering engineer did a fantastic job. I just get too caught up to mix my own music.
It's not exactly metal, but we have metal running through our veins!
