Hard-on! Got that God Forbid feel to it, still. Not soooo kean on the vocal line and technique in the prechorus and chorus, but it will grow on me.

i tested for this and was told it was down to me and Jens out of the rather large batch of test mixes they had done, then they spent another day and picked jens... his mix is quite good, so i know the album will be great. i'm quite happy with my mix as well though, and maybe they will let me post it up for streaming somewhere, just to share with you guys on the forum. i'll ask if it's ok for me to do that... no promises though.

Cool tune. I see some freshness in their music due to the 7stringsness and some new vocal stuff also.

hell yeah, this band seems to be doing the opposite of most good metal bands, When I first heard them I thought they were sort of mediocre and eghh, but with every album they just got leaps and bounds better, the last album the "constitution of treason" or whatever its called is still on constant rotation for me, one of my favorite metal albums of the last few years, its got a couple generic moments but there are quite a few "whoahh, I cant believe they made that section work" moments too, and the solos.........,this new thing rules. it sucks you didnt get the gig James, As a fan I would have wanted you to mix it, your mixes have a unique density that somehow manages to also retain great seperation between instruments...but atleast you didnt get beat out by some hack
