His legacy has been raped over and over and I don't expect many (if any) to care here anyway, but listening to this (in this incarnation) unreleased song makes me smile:

Ah, me either! I agree, they are exploiting the shit out of his legacy...Dime is close behind in that regard, but I'd love to hear some unreleased Hendrix.

His tone on Band of Gypsies = amazing.

It's worth it guys!

The fact that we haven't seen this being released in his lifetime might indicate that Jimi didn't intend to release it, or didn't consider it to be finished. He was notoriously anal about such things.

BUT: This doesn't sound like one of the gazillion alternate takes and rough demos that have been thrown out before, it sounds like Jimi came back for a day to produce this light-hearted song. It just makes me feel good.
