I'd do Shania.
I went to the post office yesterday and when I got back into the car I heard a strange yet familiar sound on the radio. It was Safe Home!!!

Kidd Chris has come to San Antonio. And he LOVES Anthrax. (Which makes him cool in my book.) I guess he used to be on the Howard Stern show, I've never listened to that. But he came here to have his own morning show. And thank the metal gods in heaven they started a new rock station, ('cause KISS is really pathetic).

My gf told me that she heard Anthrax on 102.7, but I didn't believe her because she doesn't really know much about them. I hope I get to hear them on the radio (other than on KSYM, college radio) because that way I can start requesting the hell out of it and maybe Anthrax will get big in San Antonio and Anthrax will have to come back, instead of passing the whole state of Texas, like the last two times. I really hope they play What Doesn't Die, that song is better than anything they play on KISS.

I know that Chirs played something last week, but I missed it. I just heard them talking about Anthrax. Yesterday after playing Safe Home he said he loved WCFYA and that people should go and get it. :kickass: The number to the station is 210~470~5765 if anyone wants to call and request Anthrax!

MAIDEN!, MAIDEN!, MAIDEN!, MAIDEN!, MAIDEN!, MAIDEN!, MAIDEN!, MAIDEN!!!!!!!!!

I kept hearing your name for some reason on Saturday night in Universal City, CA ;)

Last weekend, I was driving home from Mexico, and when I got to the US side, I tuned in to 94.5 KFRQ, in McAllen, and they were playing Safe Home. I was pleasantly surprised. :Spin: I hardly ever listen to the radio because that is the only rock station in south Texas and they are not that good. I hope Safe Home catches on to other cities like it has in Chicago.

You lucky bastards.
LA radio blows. We got a new station in town which is alternative but they play a lot of old school new music too. The raining alternative station rarely plays old stuf except for lunch hour. The new station plays the Clash(did it b4 Sublime), Sex Pistols, Ramones, the Cure, Public Enemy and newer punk like Pennywise and some of the usual players. If they would drop the Sound Garden(metal but won't admit hit), Pearl Jam(total Zeppelin and hippies to boot) and Nirvana(no brain was no spokesman for my generation, PUSSY) and played Maiden and Tharx I'd be happy. It's scarry when the freshest sound in town is the Smiths sining Panic "Hang the DJ". And I dig the tune. But when you hear to much of a good thing it can get old i.e. my old favorite Zeppelin.
You lucky bastards ge Anthrax.

Hey, Lupe! I have heard Safe Home on 94.5 a few times now too. I also don't think very highly of them, but I think Keith West and Stacey Taylor are my votes for the most likely to play Anthrax.
It would be so great for the guys to come back to Texas. I don't think they should give up on us. They have a lot of die-hard, old school fans here!

I think I met that guy Keith West back stage in McAllen...I met some radio guy and that name sounds familiar. He said they'd play Anthrax if it wasn't as heavy. I told him Safe Home wasn't heavier than what they'd play for Metallica. That'd be cool if he played it. If it's the same guy.
