Always interested to hear new stuff from you guys and this song is no exception. I don't think there's an overabundance of glitches in this song or anything to the point where it's necessarily distracting. I think it's just become so overdone these days that it's like "well, there's the obligatory glitch part". But either way, I dig it. I've listened to it a few times already. I'll share it too.

Love the track, agree with Otero's comments though. Vocals sound a lot more mature and less tuned on this, way more 'Phil' and throat in the vocals, in a good way.

Is the EP title a take on Passion of the Christ?

Were going to be releasing a press release on the album concept soon. Basically, its if the events written in the bible(specifically the story of jesus) happened modern day. Replace jesus with the purest sin-free form of human (main character), Replace god with aliens and you'll have the basis of the story. Were not trying to bash any kind of religion, it's just our take on what would happen IF this were the case.

Please dont be one of those bands that do that
With that being said, I clicked liked and looking forward to hearing the song when I get home !

To be honest, it really helps people who haven't heard of our band notice our name on their friends page who did click like. Were still growing as a band so were trying to take every opportunity we can to be noticed by as many ears as possible. If it bothers you so much to click like, you can listen on YouTube with out the mandatory like option before a listen. I don't mind clicking like to listen to songs because I understand why the option is there. Put yourself in the position of a band that wants to share their music with as many people as possible. If you could ask for something as miniscule as a click before a listen that would definitely help more people discover your band, why wouldn't you ask your fans for that? Facebook is an awesome tool for bands, picture this. You have 500 fans on your page, they all click to "like" your band. Each of those fans have 100 friends on Facebook who will be alerted that their friends "liked" our band. That's 50,000 people that will see our name on their page. If that isn't great promotion, what is?

I guess people have different definitions of "clever" marketing.

I don't mind having to post something on my FB wall to download an EP for example (like the Devin Townsend Project live EP) IF I actually like the band. What I do mind is having Facebook say "XXX likes band YYY", when in fact I don't know if the band is worth "liking" or not, I just want to hear the song.

It's not really a problem since I can unlike after I listen to the song anyway, but I think it does piss me off. Maybe you don't care, but I wouldn't want to annoy any potential fans.

We've gained 1000 new fans in less than 12 hours... the ratio between happy/pissed off people is in our favor at this point. I'm not trying to be shitty but this method is one of the best to get your name out there. Our band doesn't tour/play live at this point, so the internet and other various media outlets is the only way for our band to gain exposure.

Yeah sure its good for the band, but tbh I dislike having to press like on stuff I actual never have heard.. like fama said.

But then again, its just a everyday annoyance.. not anything I would say im "bitching" about or consider a big problem. and good for your band nick that its working out in your favor
