Beginning was cool, but the verse does indeed sound exactly like Korn. What the hell.
And the snare sounds like somebody put a mattress on top of it.

You should put another link with the original audio. The guy who uploaded this one changed the pitch of the song.

Heard this earlier. I feel like the last album was kind of going in this direction but still had some In Flames flavor to it. This song is just not good and doesn't sound like them.

Creepy whispered vocals backed by a repetitive downtuned "angular," somewhat discordant riff on the verse then a loudish chorus. May not be 100% Korn, but it's similar enough that more than out person pointed it out
I'm guessing the uploader in the OP video pitched it up to avoid the copyright algorithm flag.
Anyway, bleh. I've seen these guys 3 times, met em and hung out with them for a little bit and bought Anders a beer but as a fan since Jester Race I gotta say nope nope nope on this song. I can stand up until Come Clarity and that's stretching it.

Didn't like it at all. Really uninspired writing. The mix is big but not to fond of the aesthetics, well its more about the snare really. I think they do aggressive cool riffs then the popmetal they've been doing lately.
I know it was recorded in Hansa Studios but anyone know who mixed it?

Don't know about the pitching thing. Got it from a Metal news site so I thought it was the official upload. The second video may sound a little fatter, certainly not HQ though. 
Don't hear the Korn parallels either but it's just as boring as it gets... I've seen them like ten times or even more often but I didn't go to a show for a couple of years now. The new stuff just blows. Really sorry to say that as I was a huge fan back in the day. But I only made it through their last record one time.
On this track they even copy themselves. Pretty sure that Post-Chorus riff was in some other song already.
Agreed on the weird Snare. The whole mix sounds a little rough. At their level this might very well be just a demo as far as the sound quality is concerned imo. Maybe a little too many production gimmicks for that but you get what I mean.

Do they even play anything from Clayman live these days? They already missed Episode 666 the last couple of times that I saw them and that must have been five years ago or so.
