New Jeff Loomis Signature Model

tried out a loomis 7 (the old one, not this V) a few days back at a local guitar store... nice guitar but i did'nt really like the neck... i prefer the thinner ibanez 7string necks...

and the old signature model with a 'normal' body shape looks way better than this 'V' IMO.

i really cant understand why the fuck would anyone buy a V shaped guitar if it's not for LIVE performance only
it's impossible to play them sitting down and no way am i going play standing up all the time...

Guess this is one for Schecter's more prolific teenage market. The shape is awful, and they obviously aren't caring much about conveying the tone. Suppose it'd be more about the visual impact. Ooh black rhoads with gothic cross inlays and extra spikes.

Who knows, they might even team up with Hot Topic to sell it in-stores. :Spin:
