so listening to New Jerusalem right now, a personal fave of mine btw, and I keep hearing these strange noises that at first I thought were coming from outside. And then I thought it was my wife trying to get my attention. But then I noticed that I kept hearing it at the same moment of the song and immediately put my ears right to the speakers to better hear it.
Okay here goes.
at 1:59 there's a strange sound which I think could maybe be a slide at the very tail of the lead harmony as the verse starts.
but wait.....
2:10 right at the end of the word "greed" it almost sounds like a cricket chirp or like when you run your thumb accross the teeth of a comb.
I've played it back about 100 times and I know hear it everytime and .....well......am I insane or is something really going on there. You have to listen carefully....but I'm sure I hear it.
WHAT IS IT!!!???
UPDATE:
I might add that I only seem to hear it on the PC speakers, my MP3 player doesn't do it and niether does my home system.......so it could just be a computer glitch when I imported the audio....but just in case....has anyone else heard it?
