New Judas Priest song online

Someone told me that there are rumors going around that Judas Priest, Metallica, Iron Maiden are all getting calls from Sharon to do OzzFest this year. Along with Black Sabbath of course...
Sharon also apparently offered a slot to Anthrax on the condition that they play with their classic lineup: Belladonna, Bello, Benante, Ian, and Spitz. Strange thing is, I'm beginning to think it might happen given how much I'm hearing about Belladonna and Spitz all of a sudden. So maybe Sharon offered Metallica a slot if they propped Cliff Burton's corpse up on stage, gave Dave Mustaine a needle, Hetfield a beer, and made Lars quit being the fag that he is. I wonder how much Sharon would have offer Lar$ to make him go straight again...

I really don't think I would go to this... Maybe just for JP, maybe... Iron Maiden's last album wasn't that great, Metallica has turned into a circus joke, and Sabbath well, how about throwing in some DIO era stuff!!!!

that rumor was posted by an British site promoting a European festival and they were trying to get Ozzfest for 1 of the thier 3 days and all those bands were mentioned as playing along with Black sabbath.

I dont' think that rumor was for the US version of Ozzfest.

I've heard the whole JP album, my initial reaction was disappointment. I was hoping for something along the lines of Painkiller but it's not nearly as good as previous JP releases.

Maiden is the forerunning rumor for Ozfest this year, it's been all over Sirius.

Belladonna is confirmed to play with Anthrax at some gig later this year from what I've read someplace, maybe Anthrax.com, cant recall.

The new Priest album is good, someone scored me an advacne copy, but I'll buy it when it comes out, theres a bonus live dvd concert included that I read about. :worship:

If you're missing solos and double-bass, trust me, the album has plenty. But then again those of you who are nay-saying already will probably not like it even if Rob handed it to you himself

I have heard the entire Priest "Angel of Retribution" CD, and, as a whole, it slays. The single that the label picked (Revolution) is, in my opinion, the worst track on the record. If you like old Priest at all, you will love this disc, believe me.

The tracks "Wheels of Fire", "Hellrider", "Deal With the Devil" and "Demonizer" are simply awesome classic Priest with a touch of Painkiller drumming courtesy of Scott Travis. Don't avoid the album just because the suits at the label picked the dud off the new disc (imagine that!) as a single - it has been well worth the wait, IMO.
