New Kiss Shows

Ok, well i went to the show last night and was in the Heaven section.

I must say MGF were one of the most strange shows i have ever seen. I was impressed by that chick showing her pussy on stage, not something you see every day!!

Greenspoon were pretty good, since last time i saw them they have grown into a really solid rock act.

I have never been to a kiss show before but i must say i was very impressed by the stage setup, i don't think i have ever seen such a big speaker stack, except maybe AC/DC

I was very surprised that the crowd were so tame up untill the symphony part of the show started. most polite crowd i have ever seen. I think the heaven section must have been a lot of people like me who were given tickets and are not hard core fans. Even though i was only 10 meters from the stage there was plenty of room to move, this was a very refreshing change!

My fav song of the night was War Machine, that bass sound was so fat :headbang: awesome, even with the confusion of announcing it wrong!

the symphony part was also very good. Thats when the crowd really got into it.

All in all, a very good night.

I wouldn't have paid 200 bucks for it or what ever the price was though.

The reason i got the tickets is my sister works for a charter cruise company and kiss have booked a party on one of there boats in sydney harbor, im sure she will have fun that night!!!! and no i can't go unfortunatly

Machine Gun Fellacio are horrid. Their "songs" don't actually sound like songs. It sounded like a sound effects CD playing with some chick wailing and a bizzare stage show.

Strange about the Symphony part being where the crowd went wild there, wasn't the case in Melbourne! Maybe coz we got the Symphony last year so it was nothing new. The floor was obviously alot more enthusiastic here too from the sounds of it, but that always seems to be the case with anything in Melbourne I think. I heard the same about the Bruce Kulick shows earlier this year. My mate went to the Sydney one coz he happened to be there that weekend and said he's never seen such a quiet crowd lol.

Just got back from the show at the Enmore... very low-key compared to even the Palais show, so I hear, but I had a good time and it was nice to finally actually see KISS in conccert, even if it was a very small scale thing.

No pyro, blood, fire, etc. Just a good rock band doing what they do best... And fuck, were they tight!

Would have been good to hear more of their 80s stuff, though, but it really wasn't what that show was about. So yeah, for what it was, it was awesome! :)
