new LOA vid!!!

Yeah, it seems he has gotten himself straightened out for the better. He probably was going through a recycling phase. HA! I can't wait for the new one. It's been a long time coming.

As far as things are for myself, in general, I am always into the new things that bands bring out now. I usually can't get into a lot of the old stuff. It's like going back into the past. Hey, that's just me and I don't se anything wrong with that. Whatever floats your boat. All I know is I prefer the new more modern stuff that musicians or bands put out now because to me the present moment is what matters the most and was is currently "in" as far as what I am interested in until the next thing happens and so on. The only time I'll gladly accept and enjoy anything old and worn is when I happen to go to a show and a band will play the classics. Also, I tend to stay awy from the depressing stuff, I am just not that kind of person anymore. I have changed and moved on in my life, however the new LOA looks likes a keeper that I may get into. Also, I don't like the depressing stuff anymore, in general. The new LOA, however, is fresh and new and looks like something to look forward to. I feel they are reinventing themselves as a band without changing who they are as a band. It is time for something new just like how everyone else should be doing when things may tend to get stale.

That's cool, and to each their own, but let me get this straight. You don't own or listen to ANY old albums by ANY bands? If that's the case, like I said that's cool, but I don't know how you can limit yourself like that!? Personally if I like something I could care less when it came out! To me great music is great music regardless if it's 200 years old or 2 days! Besides, you can't always equate listening to old music and living in the past as one in the same. I know this is veering a little off topic, but in general, I think it would be horrible if we ever got to the point where noone cared about history, or what happened in the past. Imo it's important to take a look back, and try to learn from the mistakes of past generations, and maybe even learn things they had right, that perhaps got lost over time. Sadly, I think with the instant gratification culture we live in, it seems that most people care less and less about the past. Imo that's a shame.

I don't disagree with you at all. I just find myself currently doing that as far as music is concerned. Things could change. Nice post BTW.
