New Manowar Lord of Steel

I don't know, maybe Joey soldererd himself a fuzz box?
you mean a fuzz box full of quality-destroying parts that than goes into another fuzz box that does the same shit,
than put a lo-fi plugin on it and than try to make this sound like shit?

He actually had a pretty good bass sound in the past imho, a bit to much highs and mids for my taste, but he plays
in a different way so it suited the style, but this stuff now, god damn, I can't even find words to describe it...

the album blows too ... shame really. I actually like the fact that the drumming doesn't sound so obviously like a drum machine, actually sounds like a drummer playing which as much as I loved SC, they've been missing that for a long time. I guess Manowar truly is done.

Actually I pretty much liked all songs except for two. The bass sound distracts from listening to the song though :/

I was liking the 1st song initially but it just seems watered down now. A couple of cool moments but aside from the incredibly annoying bass sound I just can't find a song that truly lives up to my expectations ... and they weren't incredibly high :D

As a long time fan, since basically around Sign of the Hammer, this is actually a bigger letdown than Gods of War. I figured they would come back with a vengeance after that slab of shit .. although "King of Kings" was a KILLER song \m/

What an awful production... bass is epic turdish fucking shit!!!. Just listened to some random fragments and I even found a mistake; 00:43 punch out on the left channel. I hope it is just a preproduction mix for iTunes and the album on september will be fixed.

The band that claims to have the best sound of the world... It's annoying to listen to that fucking 8-Bit synth bass. :puke:
How did they manage to make "Kings Of Metal" sound so fucking good in 1988, and how can they do so huge piece of shit nowadays??

There can be only one explanation: It is a joke.

^ doesn't mean anything, its still the cd ... just happens to be the one that comes with the special issue of the magazine ... its also got this particular artwork. I guess the other version will have different art
