New Master - Band ive Produced. [6505, Bass DI, AD]

what would u suggest i do?
ive tested the song on loads of speakers and none have sounded boxy so i obviously cant hear what you can?

any suggestions besides buy new speakers lol?

Kris

Could be my shit speakers too but when a said boxy, I mean a little boxy but that is not a real problem. But wait for more feedback. I might be wrong in my analysis.

Edit: I heard again, and it´s more the guitar tone not the all mix

yer i used a shitty mic on that haha, you shulda heard the original hahaha gotta get better at my micing technique. my first shot at micing a 6505 :)

I heard again and again!lol I think that guitars could sound better with less mids but dont take this to too seriously because is mainly a matter of taste. But as I said, wait for more feedback.

Edit: But all the rest sounds good.

Hey thanks so much for the feedback!

What do u mean by harsh shhhhh?

And the drums are AD for the cymbals with evrything else replaced. I even made 2 of the Toms in to cymbals and replaced in with some of my own samples. The kick and snare are the sneap ones and toms are some random ones I found.

Nice, I like both kick and snare, that's why I asked about Slate, also didn't read well the title :p

Yeah I think I'll be buying slate wen I've got the cash. Especially with that new Amg feature

Sounds pretty good, problem frequency overall in the 300-450 hz range causing a little boxyness, bottom end could be fatter and punchier with the kik and the bass and also guitars, vox need de-essing and a little overwhelming in the mix, i personally like vocals sitting in the music but its personal taste as well, overal good job dude.
