Hello,

We are please to announce the completion of a new McGill Manring Stevens c.d. titled "What We Do". This is a disc of modern jazz standards given the "MMS treatment". Colorful textures, challenging rhythms and harmonies, lyrical beauty, fat grooves, and fiery virtuosity are all represented on this unique set of jazz masterpieces. The c.d. was mixed by world renown sound sculpturer David Torn is set to be released in late June or July of 2005 on Free Electric Sound Records-a division of The Laser's Edge. Scott McGill makes a guest appearence on a track on the new disc by Zero Hour and Death Machine guitarist Jasun Tipton. The disc is titled "Seduction" and is a brilliant showcase for Jasun's compositions and blazing guitar playing.
