New Metal-core mix My own band (PODfarm/SSD 3.5/CRAPOLA CYMBALS!)

Hey guys

this is my most recent mix i did for my own band, its just in demo stages but id like you guys to gimme some critique!

My Drummer is arrogant and bullhead...for a change and demanded i use cymbals he programmed,

i replaced the kick and snare with SSD and the guitars are all the cali diamond plate!

ok imo the guitars need more mid and high end - they are too muddy in bass..
drums need to go up , expect kick

Drum balance sounds fine to me, but bass is too boomy, guitars lack clarity and overall mix is too loud/squashed

Do you guys have any advice for guitars? as i said im using podfarm atm.

and if i try raising about 4k or anything i get MONSTROUS fizz

much better in my opinion, maybe a litttttttle bit more gain on those guitar couldnt hurt, possibly just could be how they are muted. cymbal pan is a little to extreme but not awful, drums are a little overpowering in the mix to me, but over all solid bro

Yeahh the guitars sound a little muddy, but i think the problem is the mud from other instruments.

I like the song though.

The double bass is overbearing (i think at one point it's straight kicks for like 2 minutes). The cymbals sound farther apart than the guitars.

The guitar in the middle gets REALLY annoying after some time....I'd turn it down or also doubletrack it.

iv had to start anew and to be honest i might re-write the whole thing haha

-decrease the kicks volume a bit, but tone is superb imho!
-whole song needs a little bass improvement imho,
