New Metal show coming to the Digital Airwaves - with DJ Bruce Dickinson!

3hrs of Rawk and Metul with Brucie starts on the new BBC Digital Radio channel - 6 music which starts broadcasting on Monday 11th March.

Bruce's rock shows will go out on Saturday and Sunday nights 9Pm-12PM. Saturday will be more rock and Sunday more prog/wierd.

Should be worth a listen. It'll have to be via the net for me, since I don't have one of those over-priced Digital radio tuners yet.

I don't have satellite, but according to the bbc website

Digital radio via digital satellite television
You can listen via digital satellite television on channel number 911.

Digital radio via digital cable television
6 Music can be received via digital cable television - currently only on Telewest channel number 909.

I'm going to listen in via the net anyway - I'm kinda interested to hear what Bruce plays

and about the TotalRock Board - well, its turning into a chatroom - the people there are more concerned about increasing their number of posts than about posting anything related to music - and if someone posts something about music, unless it is one of the 'cult bands' promoted by the DJs, then everyone ignores it. I don't really spend very much time there these days.

Didn't Bruce do a few shows for radio 1 if I remember rightly. The best bit was when he got into an argument with the bloke out of...........shit can't remember, some semi industrial band supported carcass on their last tour.
