New Metallica Song

yeah, but i still consider the black album a good album by them. it wasn't awesome, but it was still metal and pretty good. if they made anything as good as the black album i'd be satisfied, its unrealistic to think they'll go back to making thrash.

you can't actually judge the song until you hear it on the record. The song seems way better than anything they put out after justice. I actually like the guitar work and the drumming except the vocals. Kirk's solo seems very ajfa, and it didn't seem very sloppy. I think it rapes slayer's new song in the ass. I like the solo actually. It is not a standard kirk solo except wha-wha abuse. It remainds me of the ride the lightning solo, but it is different. I like the riff after the solo a lot. If they would change the vocals, shorten the song to 6 minutes it would be great. Yes i will buy tallica's next album.

would you go see this show:
Metallica
Sepultura
Nevermore ? with metallica/sepultura/nevermore as headlining? i would kill for such a show if andreas kisser would stop fucking up arise and metallica playing old shit

some good parts, some bad. The singing is awful, and some riffs are pretty lame, but some are okay for Metallica (they would be bad for another band)

Hahahaahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahhahahahaahahahahhahahahahahahahahahahahahahahhahahahahahhaha     It didn't grab me until the vocals. XD

I think I made a very accurate description of Hetfield's vocals. Let's see if people will agree with me. It's like fusing bluegrass vocals with yoddling and a little Mustaine and a tone deaf person. Whatever it is, it's hilarious. The vocals are the only reason I even listened to all of it.

Dave needs to let the Glen Drover write on the new Deth record.

Dave has a good sense of songwriting and melody, but he's not really balls to the wall metal anymore. The tracks Die Dead Enough, The Scorpion, Tears In A Vile prove that.

If Dave accepts the bands help, then the new Deth will rule.

Is it just me, or is the link not working? Anyone who has it mind sending it my way?

i thought it was pretty decent. james sux live we all know that, but i do think he is getting better. he needs to stop trying to sing and bring back the raspy voice he had before. i know he can do it, he did some at a german festival recently. they got talent. just not as much as say... nevermore! kirk ain't that sloppy. in fact their music is extremely tight and well executed. the only problems i have with the band are that james can't sing and lars needs to incorperate more double bass when needed. but metallica were never about drums, they were more about the guitars and driving riffs and driving solos.

You forgot, Ride. By a complete country mile, Ride is the best Metallica record. It's epic, and has everything Puppets has, except better.

RtL > everything else by them.
