Did a track a couple of weeks ago for Ireland's "Dead Label" who are signed to Rising Records.
They have a girl playing drums and she hit harder than most drummers I get in!
Really tight band and a good track.
I love the bit where they flip the drums around at 5.45.
I posted this track recently re using Triple Recto or MK4.
Went with the MK4 in the end.
I can't provide the multi for this one. Sorry

Really nice recording. Nice warm sound, I like it. Well executed music too, although it's not really my cup of tea honestly. Your vocal recordings sound awesome to me, also for the latest mixing threads of you. Care to share some details sometimes?

And yes, the she drummer is a hard hitter!

Thanks.
Vocals on this are audix i5 to universal audio la610 with about 10-16 db compression to drawmer 1968me medium attack fast release pulling about 5 db.
The la610 sounds fantastic and the compressor is really transparent.
This is my usual rock/metal chain. I use tlm103 in place of the i5 for other stuff.

it sounds really nice but i think the bass is too present in the mix. cool track, very moody!
nice snare btw! :D

They are a 3 piece so the bass player wanted to be loud. Different Lind of mix to the average metal band. The snare is my tama metalworks with a sample of the same snare mixed in. I posted it here before.
