Am I the only one that thinks this is one of the most Underrated DM bands ever!??!

To be completely honest I dont think there's been a better Straight Forward Death Metal album since Monstrosity's "In Dark Purity".
Anyone agree?

Well, this is my first time hearing Monstrosity and I like it. I have heard "of" them, but never heard them. Thanks for the link, good stuff. Like you said, it's straight forward death metal and they do it well. Someone looking for something a little more original or unusual might not care for them. Personally, I'm a fan of this approach so I will certainly check out some more of their stuff.

I am not a big Monstrosity fan...used to like them more a while ago, but they are more or less out of the picture for me...They still remain a good band tho, and have remained an underrated band indeed

Maybe they can make a breakthrough like Kataklysm and get their asses recognized again!

that's funny you mentioned Kataklysm, because I've always considered Kataklysm & MOnstrosity the 2 most Underrated DM bands Ever.
But yes, Finally ppl have picked up on the all mighty KATA.

& to Gollum...if you liked this new song DEFINITLY check out any song on In Dark Purity, totally fuckin' killer album.

I've got one Monstrosity but I need the older stuff cause it was quite slow in my opinion...Kataklysm=fucking oath, they're bad ass definately....IN SHADOWS AND DUUUUUST!!!!!! Best hooks ever on that CD, along with Illdisposed and Koldborn.

And let's not forget Illdisposed. Songs like Near The Gates, There's Something Rotten..., We Lie in The Snow, Psychihc Cyclus...these are just songs that makes you wanna stuff!

Kataklysm, KSE, & Gardenian are the epitome of "Swing Metal" - Metal that makes ya wanna Swing your hips because some of their riffs are so dancy & catchy.

Hahah...Gardenian? Their most swing song for me is, ummm what's it called...Powertool! The one where they ripped off the melody of an In Flames song completely but they did it with style.
