I liked the first album they did. But I hated the song "to be with you". It really sucked. About the solo, this is a band and I guess he adapt his playing to it. I love Eric Martins voice too. I still think some of the songs on the first two RacerX is good too. Check them out if you haven't. I was the only one who liked them when I bought them when they came out. No one I knew liked them when I played the records.

I meant I didn't like the solo. The phrasing in it is just not my thing. I do think a solo can be impressive without onethousandthreehundredthirtyseven notes per second. I just think he could've done much better.

I love Eric Martins voice too.

Some of the songs he recorded with Tak Matsumoto (B'z) and Jack Blades (Night Ranger) are good, so long as you aren't expecting metal or any major stretches of compositional imagination.

Song/chorus-hook is weak. Solo is boring and unmemorable. Don't know why you guys like this so much.
