There was mixed reception for the production/songwriting of their last album, but this new material sounds quite promising!

Thoughts?

I'd rather hear them mixed an mastered by Henrik Udd. The song is kind of ok but the mix seemed a bit too light for my taste. This band needs massive low end.

I like it a lot. It's not quite there yet compared to their best albums imho (Killing With a Smile, Horizons) but it's damn close. Also like the mix, which wasn't the case with their last one.

You can just copy youtube links here and it will embed the video. So here's it again, with the official music video (720 and even 1080p) :D

Yeah I just heard it on Facebook, sounds fucking awesome. Love the production so much more than the last cd. Love the message and visuals of the video as well

Am I the only one that thinks that intro is puss? Adam D would have filtered that out and/or turned it into an engaging intro. Heard the new As I Lay Dying song straight after listening to this and haven't gone back.

Yeh these guys need a good producer to cut the shit and make them sound good again. Hard to argue with the people behind the decisions because the results (world domination) haven't seemed to slow.

That intro is something I would expect of a local band, a poor local band at that.

Have always respected this hardworking Aussie band who are down to earth guys but that intro...

+1 on everything marshy said.

Nowhere near the level of horizons imo.

that was their best album, and by the looks of things I don't think they will ever top it (nobody seems to care)

this band needs super saturated guitar tones ala adam D, tight editing and prominent drum samples. also, all the shit song writing cut out.

this and deep blue sound like a local band.
