So I'm asking for a little direction here because I've been reading the threads on building pc's on the forum I'm a bit confused about something . The audio card that I'm going to be using is an m audio delta 44, which is a pci type card. My question is I've been reading there are some issues with pci type cards with some chips sets or specific motherboards.Again I've done a little bit of research here on the forum and I'm not sure exactly what those issues are.

This is the motherboard Im intending to pick up... http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813131792

I'm going to be putting an I7 2600k in it also

So any help guys would be greatly appreciated.

It's the PCIe to PCI bridge on the Z and X series boards that have some issues with low latency isochronous devices. Some of the newer rev's of the chipset address this, but it's a crapshoot when you order unless you do some homework and find other people that have taken the plunge. The P67 boards do not appear to have this problem.
