New project, melodeath stuff - Caparison/Revalver/Recabinet/S2.0

Hi!!

I've started a new project, more modern-oriented, without all the orchestras, and with more focus on guitars and vox (mainly grunts with some clean parts here and there).

Vox is not recorded yet, but will be as soon as possible.

The rhythm guitars have quite a bit of that 'cupped hand' sound to me. Like they're a bit phasey and not delivering the full tone. A bit dark on the whole, with not many lush overtones. My experiences with the Recabinet impulses would suggest it's the Ghandi impulse doing most of that.

Great song! Keep rocking man. My ears are not good enough to comment 'bout your sound but with me, it's good sounding mix. I like drum sound despite of the kick is a bit "too loud" at double -kick part. What do you think?

Great tone! The drums sound really cool dude, what did you use for them? I liked the song a lot too, can't wait to hear it with vocals.
