Hey guys I'm having a problem getting the "right sound" in my daw. I've tried countless times to get a good sounding sound, but I never can get one.
In this recording I used a guitar as bass b/c I don't have one.

Details:
Bass (guitar): Pod farm bass amp -> EQing out the high frequencies -> Psp vintage warmer -> Ozone -> Waves compressor
Guitars: Pod farm -> Recabinet -> Noise gate -> Ozone -> Waves compressor -> psp vintage warmer -> tiny bit of reverb
2 guitars, one panned 100% left, one 100% right. "bass" is in the middle.
Any tips/suggestions? All help is appreciated
