First try recording a song. Swim Cover. Need too much help :D

Those guitars sound a lot more like it. Now you need to work on those drums and bass.

Hey just a little hearing to this, I put the bass on 9 oclock for that, do you think that is so thin???http://www.mediafire.com/?ktxjgwvtzhc

And about bass and drums...I´m not sure where to start to make them right, at the moment I have just used EZdrummer (DFH) with PSP plug to make the drums and for the bass I have no decent instrument I used sampletank 2...please could you tell me a good plug for bass on pro tools.

Thanks again.

Yes, that's better, but you need to change that snare, change it to a different one in ezdrummer. And you then need to work on velocities and timings so that the drums don't sound so programmed.

I'd help you, but these files don't work for me. I've tried WMP, Sonar, and Audition.

I´m very very interested in your help. I have just hung mp3 files, is strange that they dont work for you. Where can I put them for you???

Please Unavailable try to rename the file to .mp3, there is some kind of problem with the extension.

Thanks a lot.

The last one sounded better.

Take off most of the room sound/reverb on the drums. It's making them sound distant. The kick has wayyyy too much low end and not enough attack.

The guitars need less boomy low end. Try subtracting a few dB (4-6) around 250hz. You also need more mids on the screamer.

A little less gain wouldn't hurt either. Don't forget to use reference mixes. It sounds like you are kind of mixing in the dark here. Unless you have some new and radical ideas for mixing, you should probably stay focused by using mixes from the pros to guide yourself.

Thanks Unavailable, youre right but it was darker before I found that forum :)
I´ll keep on trying.

Thanks again.

Getting better, this time the kick was too loud and the snare too quiet. Guitars are a little fizzy and boomy. They don't need less low end, though, just less in the boomy 250hz region.

Hey Unavailable, just a question... is usual to make cut with EQ on guitars??
and... how wide has to be the Q for that 250???

Thanks a lot.
