NEW Schecter 2009 Models

Some parts of the site still seem to be under construction, specifically the Artists section. I wonder if the 2009 Jeff Loomis is any different, it's not on the site yet.

Well it is now, same guitar, but only the Floyd version! Hopefully they'll make a few without FR, so I can get one :)

Apart from that, no big changes in the line-up as far as I can tell

They already had a Loomis model with an FR, as far as I remember.

I like the Classic V-1 and the Blackjack V-1, and also the new 12th Fret inlay on the Blackjack's look fucking sweet!

So that's a Blackjack V-1, a Hellraiser C-7FR and a Blackjack C-1 FR for me. :D

Eh. This year's ESP and Schecter lines are really dissapointing. Pretty much nothing new except different color options.

none of the Schecter stuff does it for me - i think they are ugly, especially the body shapes...

I think the same most of the time, but they sometimes have the LTDs beat feature-wise for me.

I really can't win when it comes to finding a metal guitar that has everything I want!

I agree. Unless you spend alot its always a compromise....but i guess thats part of the fun.....

I kind of like the ATX V-1 guitars. I agree that the Schecter abalone binding is just too much. My guitar is not a fucking chandelier.
I like the features on the stiletto custom or whatever - neck thru, emg 81 with emg singles, locking trem - but the body shape is off just a bit.

So you dislike Jackson Soloists, M Series ESP's, etc? Since most Schecters are the Soloist/M Series shape, or at least a very close copy.

I think most people dislike the body binding, especially in their otherwise great looking black cherry designs which are completely mangled by the hideous abalone binding :Puke:

I wish Schecter would make a black cherry Blackjack/Hellraiser model without a binding, like they do on some of their cheaper guitars.

dude, cmon they have a whole bunch of designs that are not soloist or M shape.. but for record the soloist / M shape is a bit boring

I really dislike that "blackjack" inlay. My blackjack have the black pearl inlays. So much better than a couple cards at the 12th fret haha

Disappointing though because now if I want another blackjack I can't get one (unless I want that terrible inlay) unless I find an older used model.

They had both, but for now it seems that the only make the FR version

Yeah I used to have the string-through version but it looks like they're not making them anymore. If I were you I would snag one quick. - http://www.drumcityguitarland.com/d...version-7-String-Electric-Guitar-P1499C0.aspx

I have contacted them, they are one of the VERY few stores to still have one on stock, but they needed to get paid in bank transfer for abroad customers, which is very lame imo. Anyway I'll probably get that on ebay when I see one :)
