These guys are my "Blow the roof off" pick for the festival in 2012. Best parts of Nightwish and Sabaton with a lead singer that sounds like Luppi.

I really don't know why I like Serenity so much... is it because I'm a Joss Whedon/"Firefly" fan? Is it because I am a history geek? The singer's voice is "off" for me... and yet it completely works with their subject matter. Of all my downloads of PPUSA bands this year, Serenity is the band that excites me the most when they come up in rotation. (*disclaimer - I have not downloaded something from EVERYONE yet*)

I strongly suspect that watching them will be like watching Voyager this past year. A band that really knows who they are, who enjoy playing together, and who can get even better than they already are.

This is high praise, considering how much I love Amaranthe, Epica, and Pretty Maids.

The song is pretty good, though I dont like the effect that they have on his voice in the verse.

Good song, great chorus, okay video. Metal videos hardly ever wow me. But Serenity wows me musically. They'll be awesome on the PPUSA stage.
