NEW SLAYER

wow, cool i hope itll be good but i dont know I think it will just sound like GHUA(thats what they sayd in previous interviews). I hope it actually does come out in march but we probably wont get it until 2007.

Slayer. God I love em. back in the day Slayer shows ment no rules, no courtesy in the pit. Just whiskey, speed and violence. Everyone was your enemy and it wasnt a good show unless you bathed in blood. There blood.

Paul Bostaph played on it. Dave did the majority of the touring.

i was gonna say that but you beat me to it. My whole thing with having Dave back is obviously the sound changed when he left the band and he is completly differant than bostaph, so common sense would tell you that the sound will be differant. I will be definitly waiting for this new album:rock:

Im hoping they will make a return to form. I haven't enjoyed one song since "Divine Intervention".

You are crazy. The song Disciple is fuckin bad ass so is much of the God Hates of All album. Might want to listen to it again

Gah, my metal trivia is sevrely dented by my Dave drums on "God" album faux pas.

It's still a wank album though.

I'm sure that'll go down well.

I thought the most recent Slayer album was the best since Seasons (not that that's saying much) and am looking for them to do more songs along the lines of Disciple.

I agree on God Hates Us All. I loved that album. It was the absolute BEST in years for them. How can you not like PAYBACK for when you are completely pissed off???!!!

The Original cover for Dream Theater's "Six Degrees of Inner Turbulance" (which was originaly released on 9/11/01 before it was pulled) showed the sky line of New York being ravaged in flames. Beat that. Oh and I liked that record alot more then God Hates us all. But that's cool, to each his own.:Spin:
actually it was live scenes from new york that had the controversial album artwork depicting the twin towers in side the flame on the bleeding heart (apple for this cover).
i have that cover ;)

Slayer is great. G.H.U.A is a great album, the next album is going to be great also. You all will buy it because it's Slayer. You will buy it,yes you will, don't lie!!:)

I'll buy it, but I know it will be crap.

Hence lies the curse of the collector.

Slayer will never top Reign in Blood/South of Heaven/Seasons in the Abyss. I think God Hates us All is way over-rated. Clunky lyrics (courtesy of Kerry; Tom is a much better lyricist), lackluster songwriting. I like Divine and Diabolus in Musica more. Well, whatever floats your boat.
