New Slipknot stuff..

I just saw the making-of of the album.

Joey's drums have triggers on snare and toms.

The parts of Corey tracking are the gayest ones.

The turntables take part that can be seen is the lamest one also. (Sid is doing 2 lame parts on this album, the rest is great).

Guitars tracking sounds great. Mick picks very hard, which i like.

Sorry to dig up a dead topic,..

I finally got around to listening to the CD - and I do like it.
I understand the reservations with Corey's singing, and yeah the song writing is a lot like Stone Sour - but what can you expect when two of the main writers are in that band?

Pretty good CD.

New video was posted on the Rivera amps youtube channel. You can see footage of Mick tracking guitars and giving feedback about his gear :

The guy picks like a maniac and i think it's part of its sound, which i like.

I can't believe the "percussionists" and sampler are even still in the band, honestly - that always struck me as a gimmick (or a revolting remnant of the nu-metal era in the case of the sampler), but gimmicks don't usually last this long, so maybe there is some significance to them.
they put on a show, that's what they're mainly there for
just think of it as some type of mini Gwar

as far as the music i liked their first, & some songs off their self titled...the rest just sounds generic
