New song I wrote -- suggestions?

Can't ever really get my mixes to sound as big as I want; don't really know why.

Bring up the drums, they are too quiet. Can't almost hear the toms at all. The mix sound a bit dark, but that's mostly because of the low drums, bring up the cymbals in volume too. I'm sure that if you focus alot on the drum sound, comparing the volume of each drum/cymbal to your favorite cd:s etc and get some more high end in the mix, it will sound much bigger.

hmm - what sound you trying to get ballstix? give me an example of a band or song that you want to get close to? then we can go from there

Pan the drums wider, they sound very centred and dark, just missing the air really.

Raised the drum levels. It's starting to sound better imo.

As for a band for reference...hmm....I don't know really. <_< Maybe Augury? Is it generally good to have a band in mind as something to shoot for?

And panning--good idea. Is there a way to pan the cymbals differently (individually) in Superior 2.0?
