Testament are head and shoulders (maybe even ass) above anything those two bands put out in almost two decades.

I think the fact that they never really blew off like those other two bands helped them to stay grounded. And while there was a lot of rotation in the line-up in the last 15 years and they updated their sound with "Low" and succeeding records, that band just never fucked with their fans or did compromise their music!
