New track in F# tuning

Hacked this together this week.

Drums are SSD4, Guitars are POD Farm, notably Classic Distortion and Missisippi Criminal head, bass is ZomBass blend of DI and 5150 distortion, then some misc synths and samples.

I like the guitars. the intro is a blast!
the snare needs imo to be a bit louder and fuller. sounds dull.

changed some master buss stuff, tamed the high end a bit, bit too harsh, added a tape sim and brought the bass up a tad.

thanks egonblik! will bear that in mind with the snare. Will probably be two or 3 more revisions of this as vocals and stuff have yet to come.

The second mix definitely was a tad better.

I'm a huge fan of the guitar tone, could you offer some more info on what you did far as the Pod tone and the post processing?

latest revision, changed the snare, and a few very minor tweaks.

@picklesnatcher, Missisippi Criminal head and treadplate cab through 67 condenser, 0% room, and the american classic preamp after this with the highs boosted and a dip at 500hz.
On the guitar buss, EQ with hi/low pass, a wide scoop around 500hz again, and about 3 surgical cuts in the high mids (2k, 4k and 8k), then I'm multibanding the lows and low mids with C4, then into L1 Limiter.
